When a treatment plan is completed, volunteers are asked to full out and return a “value of treatment” card that describes the services donated and their value according to customary fees.  The card also includes a section for feedback about the DDS experience from the volunteer’s perspective. Patients can only be seen through one treatment plan through the DDS program.  Some dentists continue seeing DDS patients at a discount or continue donating routine services; but that is completely separate fro DDS services and volunteers are under no obligation to do so.
