Ms. W., a developmentally disabled young lady, gets very nervous and “teary” about visits to the dentist.  Despite her apprehensions, Ms. W. had incredible success in the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program.  Ms. W.’s case was truly a team effort with ideal results, as explained by her general dentist in a letter written at the conclusion of her treatment.

“We recently finished Ms. W.’s case.  She is a new girl!  She was missing teeth in the upper anterior and the teeth she had were so malpositioned that we couldn’t do much restoratively that would look good.  Dr. C (orthodontist) and Dr. M.
